This is a long lost collaboration Futurecop! did with Codebreaker some time ago, that was never released. Well, we’re pleased to announce that this unique gem has finally been….UNEARTHED!!! Codebreaker‘s work transformed this already insanely catchy Futurecop! instrumental into a timeless, soulful piece of dance pop history. A combination resulting in something very unique, distinct and spiritual really. CB’s lyrics, vocal arrangements & production nuances really grab you like a new best friend…we strongly recommend first listening with headphones on, a few times in a row, eyes closed:) N.A.S.A. – Futurecop! (feat. Codebreaker) by Codebreaker Music
Also, for your viewing pleasure….Steven Hawley made this music video edit for the release! Check it out.
On our first follow up since, “The Space Chase” LP, we were asked to do a remix for a very little known, brand new artist from Berlin who goes by the name of “Christian Strobe” for his debut single, “Midnight Call”
We spent alot of time cultivating our remix by really bringing it into a dark, sexy hemisphere of warm analog arpeggiations, haunting atmospheres, balanced out by playful funky swagger & a classic, fun french touch flourish. It’s Christian Strobe’s Depeche Mode-esch pop senses here that really caught our ear & inspired us to work together.

Legendary boogie/house/soul music diva Sybil, is known for her deep and rich history with the likes of Strictly Rhythm & West End Records. Sybil first debuted the British club charts by storm with the infectiously funky “Falling In Love” in 1986. Since then, she went on to release an astounding array of smash club singles across the British and European charts including 1987′s “Let Yourself Go”, “Walk On By” and most notably, “When I’m Good & Ready” which hit #5 on the UK dance charts in the early 90′s.
Long time friend, Ultra Nate’ encouraged Sybil to get back in the studio once again, which is what led to the pairing of Codebreaker & Sybil. DJing along side of Ultra late one night at Washington D.C.’s infamous U Street Music Hall, amused by Steven’s unique, warm style, asked Codebreaker to remix Sybil’s latest single, “Troubled Waters” for Strictly Rhythm and her very own Deep Sugar Records.
“It was an honor to be asked by one house music legend to remix another legend. Of course we agreed.” Hawley exclaimed.
The result is a high energy ride….classic bounce house, funk, french touch with an unrepentant pop sensibility.
Tasteful & true, exciting and new! It’s gonna be one hell of a summer.
